"A 42-year-old man from Bikaner, who was admitted to a private hospital here, died on Thursday," said a health official. Of the 63 new cases, 36 were from Jaipur, followed by Jodhpur with 18, Kota seven and two from Ajmer. The latest death took the casualty figure in Jaipur to 14 whereas the total positive cases in the city has reached 791 which is the highest in the state followed by Jodhpur with 108 positive cases and 11 casualties. Meanwhile, the government has asked 19 more educational institutes to close for the next seven days as some students of these schools were tested positive. Altogether, 30 students were tested positive on Thursday. Of the 985 positive cases so far, a whopping 618 are below 15 years with the age group of 6-15 being the most vulnerable with 450 positive cases. The health department, on the other hand, increased the number of screenings to check the spread of the disease. "We have aggressively started the screening process and all these units have been provided with adequate dose of medication," said a top health official. Meanwhile, the co-operative medicinal stores in the state have made arrangements for the sale of swine flu medicines at subsidized rates.
